nervous about your age...advice

Hello, I'm a mother of two and I wanted to make a comment about those who feel nervous about their age and not being taken seriously.

One of my children's teachers was young and I did not have any less respect for her as the older teachers. My child learned a lot and I know she was a good teacher. The thing I noticed however was that she appeared nervous at the parent meetings. Not as confident as the "older" teachers.

My advice is to present yourself as a professional and no matter how many butterflies are in your stomach present yourself as a confident professional.
