Reversals

At this time of the year it is not unusual for some of my kids to still be having some reversals, notably b and d in printing and in math class, 7 and 3 and once in awhile 9. They usually fade with time, especially with some gentle reminders and when we get more heavily into cursive writing. If they continue to have problems, I take this as one of my "red flags" when I am meeting with parents and considering referrals for extra help or potential special education diagnosis. This year I have one reversing the letter "c". My radar is already up for this unusual red flag!
