word splash
By LLK

Clip to ScrapBook
I have posted this before, sometime ago, but it seems to work well as a quick review that requires not much time on our parts.
Make a large transparency of a splash...look on clipart in word...some sort of large word bubble type thing. Inside the 'splash' write words or phrases the students need to review. Read the definitions of these words orally. They choose the correct answer. You cross it out on the transparency. Just a different look then just writing them on the board. One year we even had silly sound effects to go with making the correct choice....like a puddle splash.
Hope this helps.
