I don't know how much help I am since I think you must be in 3rd and I'm 5th (I'm guessing from your stories). I like their workbooks, though, so you might be surprised at the skills they cover. My students actually enjoyed them last year! (I piloted the program last year - unfortunately, our workbooks haven't come in for this year yet!). Without a teacher manual, you can simply read the stories ahead of time, look at the skills involved, using the workbook, and go from there. You can ask questions as you read the stories together, without the manual telling you what to do. Sorry I'm not more help than that.
