Hello, I teach 8th grade and I also use Parent Orientation as a time to ask for donations.

I create a table (similar to a bingo card) on a sheet of paper. I type in items that I would like to have (lysol wipes, candy, dry/erase markers, sticky notes, stamps (for good news postcards), teacher postcards, etc.).

I have the paper made into a poster at Kinkos for $2. I hang this on my door.

I put a yellow sticky note over each box and write the item in again. The parents take a yellow sticky as a reminder, and I know what should be coming to school, soon.
