separation
By x

Clip to ScrapBook
if these were 1st or 2nd graders my reaction would be different, but as kindergarteners are not known for being models of self-control i would ask myself if i was setting the students up for success or failure by pairing them in the same room. if the opportunity for separation is there, i would. they're in an environment right now that impedes their academic development if they're in a constant state of distraction. separating them seems like a win-win situation to me. siblings in the same grade are often separated into different classes for similar reasons and it doesn't constitute a shortcoming on the teacher's part. . .and these students definitely spend enough time together to be compared to siblings!
