Clip to ScrapBook
A parent teacher conference might help you discover the root of the problem, whether it be an ongoing problem at home, or even the way the parents address issues that arise. I have a little boy and the only attention he gets is when he cries. It took me a long time to help him get over crying for attention. Sometimes the parents or other family members send messages that they expect their child to be perfect. These children can not deal with making a mistake. Of course, you always have the child that just naturally is a perfectionist and puts the pressure on themselves without parental pressure. A meeting with parents might help you to discover why this child feels the need to cry.
