I wear a lot of slacks, anything wash and wear because of markers, pencils and other "stuff" ending up on my clothes, I often wear long sleeved t-shirts or sweaters, I do have some long dresses but seldom wear them because you never know when you'll end up on the floor. I never wear anything expensive because of what I said above but also depending on your school's upkeep you may end up snagging them and ruining them that way... do you have a Kohl's store near you? That's where I buy my clothes....so it's not expensive...many teachers shop at Wal Mart for that very same reason... I too keep my fun clothes for fun and not at work
