In my opinion, the request that was made of you oversteps the boundaries that should be in place between your supervising teacher and you. This puts you in a very awkward position for the very reasons that you stated. Your grade (and, to a certain extent, your future career) depends on this person's evaluation of you. It is inappropriate for her to pressure you to perform this function.

Babysitting for kids is a big responsibility when you do know them. To request that you do so for kids you've never met, especially overnight, and for no money at that, is simply unacceptable. You may even want to mention the situation to your student-teaching advisor at your college, just in case there are any subtle repercussions somewhere down the road.
