bathroom monitors

Have you tried bathroom monitors? They check the condition of the bathroom before you send anyone in and again when you leave. If everything is fine when you get there and a mess when you leave, you know that it is your kids playing. You can also have the monitors stay in the bathroom and report to you any misbehavior. This can be added to your classroom jobs. When I had a problem with playing, my boy's monitor stood against the door to keep it open. I could hear any climbing and playing and also see the boys if they were anywhere but at the urinal or sink.
You have to be careful that the monitors don't talk to everyone and make the breaks take longer, and the monitor needs to be a trustworthy person.
