I am poems

This year I am going to have the students write their parents a letter describing their classroom and to tell them important things we do in class. Also, the students have written an poem called I AM. It is so cute and it really lets you see what the students are like. I plan to have them posted in the room with their picture beside. Then the parents that come can take the poem and picture home with them and put it on the refrig.

maybe you could do stations...where there are different things to do around the room and one of the things to do is talk with you. BUT it is alot easier to talk to the group instead of saying your rule 50 times.
