centers
By Michele

Clip to ScrapBook
Well, I don't teach that high of a grade, but I can tell you the centers I'd use...they are adaptable!

Reading/Literature: reading a halloween book and answering questions about it...or creating a halloween book (reading
text and illustrating that page).

Math: pumpkin math, measuring the pumpkins size, weight, circumference what ever concepts you are covering in math.

Sciene: Ummmmm...I don't know!

Writing: writing a Halloween type story, or story problem, writing a letter to the Great Pumpkin....or writing directions to carve a pumpkin..those are usually hilarious!

Art: creating some

type of pumpkin/haunted house/ halloween art project.

You know, you could combine nearly everything to have 1 final end project...writing a ghost story, creating a haunted house, illustrating a ghost story.?
