Frustrated as well
By Ansley

Clip to ScrapBook
I can relate with all of you. I taught in Phoenix for one year (third grade) and I loved it. I decided to take a year off so that I could get my Master's degree. During that time, I moved to San Diego (where I subbed while going to school). I then moved to Pa (finished my Master's) and I've been subbing since January. I have my Pa and NJ elementary certifications and I can't find a job. I have sent almost 300 packets (including resumes, applications, reference letters) out and I have only had 3 interviews (all say they want someone with experience in 4-5 grades). I am going to give it this one last year of subbing and if nothing comes up for me by next school year..I'm moving to Flordia to teach. I'm so sad and frustrated!
