Open Court Blues

Here I am across the country trying my best to do my three daily hours of Open Court. This is the second year Detroit has used this series and while we are seeing some improvement....it is still BORING. Too much, too much, too much. I feel like a talking head. The kids are like zombies....they can tune me out so easily as I drone on and on and on with "the script". (don't tell anyone this....but I am NOT doing everything this year!!!)

I had some interesting dialogue last year stemming from this board with a teacher in Palm Springs who was using the program. We were able to share some pretty funny stories as well as affirming each other. Let me know if you need to vent on this.....I will hear you!!
