Canada
By JMC

Clip to ScrapBook
At the end of the year I finish off with some fun Canada activities to get students ready for Canada Day on July 1st. They make flags by cutting out their hand print from red paper for the maple leaf and add the sides in red also. Add a stick and you have a flag. Do some fun red and white activities; have a red and white day, list things that are red and white, graph objects that are red and white, do some basic fun Canadian Trivia about sports people, tourist areas. There is a great book titled M is for Maple. It is a Canadian alphabet book. Gorgeous pictures and great information. I also bought some Canadian fabric, made little bags and filled with some Canadian things the local government gave me such as pins, pencils... Good luck and have some fun.
