I have had the best luck with my ld kids when they knew I was going to "check" their work. If it is homework maybe you could send a note home for parents to check over the work. I would ask them to make sure each answer is completed and there are no glaring wrong answers. Then have them just circle the number of the ones that are unfinished or incorrect. I stress that it is SO important not to do it for them, but to just help them.

If you want them to check on their own. You may just type a short checklist and run it off on the bottom of the worksheet.
    Did I try my best? Y N
    Did I answer all questions? Y N
Was there one or more that I had trouble with?____
Did I ask for help on those problems?________

    Good Luck!
