Hi,

You have to assess your options and personalities. Is this offending teacher a principal's favorite who gets away with other things? It sounds like you may be working in a private school, so this person may have
connections that you aren't aware of.

I agree that it is unfair of her to do this. I find it interesting that your school has such a short day. Many teachers with children leave soon after the ending time, but I assume they work hard at night and on the weekends.

I personally would not do anything at this point. Your peer telling you that this teacher has to pick up her child

from daycare gave you a clue that it was all right with her and maybe a lot of the staff. Don't start making waves if you want to be there next year. all through your career you will be dealing with many teachers who don't do their fair share. A good example that life isn't fair.
