Clip to ScrapBook
I do not know what grade you teach, but they are trying to bully you. Bullying is not allowed, by threatening lawyers they are compromising your job. Do not let them intimidate you. I would be very consistent in my discipline
with these two. I would document every bully type incident to you or others. I would approach the principal not with a discipline student but with an appointment,as a new teacher, asking for ideas on how to handle them, I am sure he knows them from past years. Then talk to the last year teachers, too. Try catching them at being good often. I am sure you have praised them in front
of the class for somethings. Perhaps you could invite one to eat with lunch with you and tell them how much you want them to succeed. Divide and conquer. Then let your self off the hook. None of us can solve every kid's problems, we do are best and hope another year, another teacher, will find them ready to become better students. Good luck!
