Dress codes
By SHaron

Clip to ScrapBook
How can we expect our students to follow the dress code is we cannot follow a dress code as well? After all, the Principal is our boss and if the boss says no blue jeans then we have to respect the directive from our boss
and not wear them. Even though we are teachers, we are also employees, and as such are held to the will of the employer. If we want to make our own rules then we need to be our own bosses. I too miss wearing jeans on Fridays but the boss said no so no it is. Have you ever thought about wearing khakies(gosh, I know I spelled this one wrong but am too tired to check)? They are strong
and as comfortable as jeans and the bosses are happy and you are happy because you are wearing pants that don't cost much and as as comfy as denim and you can still look professional. Work is only a prison if we allow it to be. Sorry if I make anyone angry over my opinion.
