Grading P.A.W.
By Tricia

Clip to ScrapBook
Yikkes! When I took on PAW I didn't realize the time in grading!!!!!! I just finished grading 116 paragraphs and feel the rubric was part of the problem! I just don't know if I can keep this grading pace up week after
week!!!! Any ideas???? I do know that the week we are focusing on a paper we will not be doing P.A.W. because that would be crazy for me! I am trying to have them do a lot of writing but the grading is driving me crazy and I am tired all the time because I have to bring it home with me. I am working on a new rubric which I think might be easier and I know I shouldn't admit to this but
my husband and son can go through and check for the basic requirements and check off if completed so all I have to do is read for complete sentences and such. Any advice on how you all are handling this will be appreciated!!! We have one more week and then we are off for two weeks! Of course I will be grading their descriptive writing assignments!!!!
