Interviewing blues
By No job yet

Clip to ScrapBook
I can relate to what you saying. I thought my interview with the district was going OK but I soon got the distinct impression that my "interviewer" was completely distracted and was not paying one bit of attention to what
I saying. I probably could have said that I believe all kids are stuipid and I hate them and he would have just nodded along. (Our district does mass interviews with everyone all in the same room so it is noisy) I didnt worry too much until I got a letter in June that said I would not be considered for a job. Period -- no reason why or anything. I feel like all my hard work did not
even matter. Somehow this one principal wasnt impressed with our 7 minute conversation and I dont get a job because of it. I had an excellent portfolio and some experience with long term subbing with volunteer work and none of it mattered. People say that our district is very tight with jobs but others I know are getting placements but I am not being considered. anyway - hang in there and good luck on your next interview (dont let that one bad one get to you)
