I have tried several forms of birth control. I tried the pill, gained too much weight, and I have also tried the Depo Provera shot. I loved it for the first 6 months. The first time since I had been pregnant that I had
no periods!! Man, I was on cloud 9, then the second shot came around, went to the doctor, got the shot, and then about a month after that began gaining weight again. I gain 87 pounds in a years time. Went off the shot, lost all of the weight except 11 lbs., decided to go back on and control my weight by more exercise and a better diet, stayed on for 3 years, went off to have another

baby(that was 2 years ago), and still haven't conceived. I think that it is from the shot. It seems to have alot of people talking against it.

I seen that someone stated that her husband had a vasectomy, thats a great form, but not if you want to have a baby in the future. Vasectomy reversal is costly. I have seen them as cheap as 5,000 up to 20,000. I think it's what ever your body accepts and has the less side effects.
