This is definitely something you should not get involved in. Since she is a first year teacher she should be under evaluation and your Principal needs to discuss any problems with her appearance and behaviours that HE or
SHE feels is inappropriate. Remember not everyone will see this new teacher as you do. So simply be courteous to her and continue to do your job as you normally would.

If there is something that personally affects you - such as her standing in your personal space or touching you - just ask her to move back or not to touch you. Some of us are touchers - we do not always realize we are

driving other's crazy. And then there are those who are overly sensitive to touch so they prefer no one in their space and they need to let others know this. I'm sure we all have areas in our "personal" and "professional" lives that irritate people around us. So on a personal note I try to ignore the "little" things that may bother me about another person because I realize it might just be my own perspective that is creating the issue and if I'm a bit more flexible chances are others around me will be more flexible with me as well.
