Good Luck
By Ms. P

Clip to ScrapBook
Hello...I thought that I had already posted a reply to this, but I must have done something wrong in the shuffle. I just wanted to say good luck with trophies. Our district just bought the program this year, and we are
all trying to get through it week by week. Whereas we don't level, so I have all levels in the class, I am finding it hard to keep my high students challenged and not bored. I tried to let them read the class selection (Elena this week) on their own, but then my comprehension test scores go down (not that they could get much lower). I do do some of the "above level" practice pages, but
I tend to suppliment a lot!!! Some of the pages are good, but need a little tweeking b4 I give them to the kids. I know it will get better, but it will definatly take all year to organize all the information. Spelling is the most stressful part of the day as the spelling workbook tends to challenge them and make them actually look up the words to find some of the answers. I am sorry that I am not much help, but I just wanted you to know that you are not alone in your fight to use this new series. Good Luck. PS Do you feel like you have become a "paper pusher?"
