Teacher: "The word is play."
Student 1: "p"
Student 2: "l"
Student 3: "a"
Student 4: "y"
Student 5: "Sparkle"
Student Number 6 must sit down (is out of the game)
A new word is given and Student 7 spells first letter, 8--second letter and etc.

*If a student calls a wrong letter, he/she must sit down and the next student in line must call the correct letter. (This is the point where "the
next person" may not be paying attention and will say, "What is the word?" REMEMBER: The word cannot be repeated by the teacher.....so if he/she cannot come up with the correct letter, then he/she sits down also and it continues until someone comes up with the correct letter.

The last person standing is "THE WINNER". I give the winner a SPARKLEY STICKER and that person can call the next set of words.

On the first day the list is introduced, I often leave the list in view and play the game. It's more fun on days when the list is out of view.
