Brian, I was in exactly the same position as you a couple of years ago. I have a BA in English and an MA in Teaching English.

My husband suggested that I become a corporate trainer. I wasn't really interested in that,
but I did start looking for Trainer positions. I actually ended up working as a trainer for a company that installs educational technology. I love my job! I still work in the field of education; I get to visit lots of different schools; I work with computers (as well as other technology), which I like; and I am so much happier than I was when teaching. I also still have an excuse to
visit web sites like this one.

I can't really tell you how to find this kind of job. I actually got it by responding to a Classified listing in the newspaper. But training of some kind might be a good option for you.

The only negative to my current position is that I took a pretty significant pay cut. (Yes, teachers actually do get paid pretty well.) But I'm with a small local company. A corporate training position would probably pay much better.

You may also want to look at Classified listings under Education (rather than Teacher). Often these listings are non-teaching positions, often with universities or community colleges.

Good luck in your search. Something will come up for you.
