complaining
By Vicky

Clip to ScrapBook
I can really relate to your situation. I have had a busy class the last two years also. I teach preschool and have some of the same children from last year return this year. I have 3 that have very challenging behavior
issues and the parents are always complaining that their children are not getting any better. The parents are not following through at home either. Sometimes I feel like they should come and be the teacher in the classroom with 19 3,4 and 5 year olds each day. Maybe they would not complain so much and do more with their own children. We do the best that we can for their children. I
feel that I have reached 2 out of the 3 children since last year. I have seen a decrease in some of their behaviors. I know what parents are going through. I have my own child with ADD to guide through each day also. He has a wonderful teacher this year that has helped him a lot. I appreciate the things that she does for him and don't get on her case. I can understand where you are coming from. Try to hang in there. Our manager at our center does not always stick up for her teachers either and sides with the parents without seeing the whole picture.

Keep up the good work!!! I know it is easy to think about giving up. Remember the children you are helping!!!

God Bless.
