You can go several routes to find help: Check with kindergarten teachers in your building, check your school's professional library (they may have a book with ready to copy masters), try your local teacher's store or Borders Book store, or you can do this --- Do you want a bingo game where the kids match the letter you hold up to the first letter in a word? Here's what you can do... If you are computer saavy you can make a table from MS Word of 3x4 grid. Type in a simple word in each box in large font. Once you have made one, then you can make an alternate bingo board by highlighting each word and | | dragging it to a new position, or typing in a new word for the same initial consonant...just be careful to save each version of your board before you manipulate it. Copy each onto card stock. All you need to do is draw each letter onto a 3x5 card to use as a bingo calling card when you play. You can change it into a phonemic awareness game by saying "can you find a word that starts with the same beginning sounds as cat?" and they will find cap. Or you could even put pictures in each box. The students will have to say the picture word and find the matching initial sound. (you can get pictures from clip art, or copy and cut and paste them from pictures your reading specialist or speech therapist may have. Hope that helps.
