Okay, well you said getting an administrator involved wasn't going to work so I have another suggestion for you. Before I say this, I just want to tell you that I am not sexist, so please don't take this the wrong way. Here
goes: One of the things I have noticed, even when I was a student in school is that if a man handles a situation when someone is misbehaving, a lot of the times (and not all the time) the children will respond and shape up! What I would do is find a male teacher at your school (it doesn't ahve to be an adminstrator) who knows how to lay down the law! Tell this teacher what is going on
in your room and what you have done to stop it. Ask if he would feel comfortable talking to them. I don't know if this would work, but my mom was a teacher and she had problems with students and did everything she could (she had an unsupportive administration) and still couldn't get some of her students to behave. She mentioned it to the teacher across the hall from (Amazing- I had him for a teacher and as soon as she told me that she told this teacher my first thought was: that for sure put the kids in line!) anyway she told this teacher and this teacher went into her room and sat in the back (the kids didn't see him)and watched. The minute the kids started to misbehave, before my mom could open up her mouth, he jumped all over them! My mom never had a single problem with those kids ever again. I hope this doesn't sound sexist or anything.
