totally understand

I understand where all of you are coming from except the statement that if you are a man in elementary they will scoop you right up. I am a man in primary elementary and still do not have a job. I am in MN and I sent out
over 30 applications this past year got two interviews and no job. I have 2 yrs expereince in IN. Right after college I got a first grade job after school had started because classes where too crowded than was put on the R.I.F. (reduction in force) list and called back a week before school started for all day kindergarten. I moved up to Minnesota after that and had to get licensed in

MN. Jump through a lot of hoops. So I was out of the profession for two years. I know where all of you are coming from because I am right there with you. It is so depressing to have a passion and a love for education and your not able to do it. I feel like something is missing from my life and I know it is education. I do not know if I am going to sub yet as I can not afford not to be called everyday but if I go back to an office job than it will be the same question so what have you been doing the last three years. I just feel like it is getting so hard being out of it so long and am also scared I will not get credit for my two years of teaching. Good Luck to you all. We just need to have faith that we will all be in a classroom next year thinking about how this year has made us strong and that we truely appricate the the blessing it is to teach.
