Here are some ideas: 1. Hat day- students can where hats in school for a day if they pay money (usually between 25 cents- 1 dollar). 2. Bake Sale- Sell goodies before school, at lunch, at recess, and after school. 3. | Fish Fry- If you have Knights of Columbus where you live, they do fish fry's almost every Friday. What you have to do is call the Knights of Columbus and see if they have room for your school to do a fish fry (It takes some time- they are usually quite full) and pick an open week. I think all you have to do for that is the night before people come in and prepare a few things and then | | the night of the fish fry you have people take orders (what type of fish, etc) and bring them the food. You end up making a ton of money because it is like 6.00 a ticket and then you end up getting the regular Knights of Columbus attenders plus the people from your school. You end up paying a set fee for the meal (I don't know what that is) but you still have a lot left over after the fee.4. Spaghetti dinner- Go to local grocery stores and explain what you are doing- they will probably donate some things. Then ask parents to bing in things needed to. Then sell tickets. It might work best if the people coming provide their own drinks and you serve the rest. 5. Apple pie sale- See if people will donate ingrediants- parents, grocery stores, etc. You could also use some of the classroom money to buy things if you need to. Then have volunteers from your room stay after a couple of days a week to bake pies. Send out order forms to the school. Then sell the pies for 5- 10 dollars a piece.
