Spend your money on your bottoms. Two good pairs of slacks in a three-season fabric should

Get two or three great, slightly more pricey bottoms to pair with a bunch of not-so-pricey tops. If you look in the mirror and think something is too tight, too revealing, too see-through, it definitely is. If you would feel uncomfortable watching your own child standing alongside someone dressed in your outfit, take it off and save it for a date. As for shoes, let me tell you something. I love cute shoes. I love strappy sandals and things that show off my great pedicure. I would kill myself if I wore those all day to stand up and teach. If your feet don't hurt at the end of the day, you're not doing your job right. You're sitting down too much. Look for the nicest shoes you can find but for heaven's sake, DON'T BUY SHOES THAT HURT JUST PUTTING THEM ON. Good luck!
