We would have pictures eg butterflies 4 on a page. The chn would receive
Depending on ability. Mine started off with a chart with the numbers 1-20. We played I am thinking of a number chn would guess. I always made them half the number so there first guess would be 10 and I would say higher or lower. They kept going till they guessed it. We used lots of worksheets with missing numbers on it. Another one was straws we put into bundles of 10's so the children could make up 45. 4 lots of 10 and 5 single. Little blocks that interlock were great for counting and fine motor skills. Again they put in towers of 10 and single ones. Number charts to 100 are great. I made up games with mosaic square tiles and I wrote the numbers 1-100 on them and then a grid with 100 squares. The chn put them onto the card in order. Easy things like counting everytime we entered the room or moved to another part of the school. Counting using money eg Australians count by 5c, 10c and 20c to $1.
