I didn't mention - a GREAT book to help you with good hands-on activities as well as other printables is the Mailbox SuperBook for grade 5. I've used that SO many times. It's well worth the $25. I found it at the teacher's store, but you can order it online at their website probably too (mailboxmagazine.com - I think).
