If you don't find the cookie cutter, just roll out the sugar cookie dough, and cut a kind of bumpy mitten shape with a sharp knife. Use the knife to score the dough so there are fingers suggested. It worked just fine for me for years, til I ran across a handprint shape in a dollar bin at our grocery store.
