solar oven!

another idea is to have them make solar ovens, and bake something! it gets them excited about science right away! the ovens are easy - cardboard box, black paper covering the inside, and saran wrap. you can have the kids decide what will work best inside too...some will want to put foil, or white paper....have them cook something like a cheese sandwich...yum!
