warm ups

Some teachers I have known over the years have done "Daily Oral Geography" as a warm up, just like DOL and Daily Math. Kids have to do some map reading and facts. This is a good idea, I think, because I teach fifth graders who are pitifully lacking in map skills when they come to me. The teachers must not teach geography in the lower grades.
