You are so right ~ Responsive Classroom routines are the best for community and social skills building. And for kids who don't feel "connected" the whole RC philosophy helps sp much! You can buy all the materials but I really think taking either a one day intoduction workshop or the whole week training is very worthwhile. Get "Teaching Children to Care" if nothing else. They have a fine website.
