setting up the classroom

My yearly salary is divided into 12 checks, so I still receive a paycheck during the summer months, even though I have no students. therefore I don't consider myself unpaid when I'm setting up my classroom at my leisure over the summer. I'm paid quite well in July and Aug, and its to my advantage to have everything humming before their little faces enter the room. It's my choice.
