open concept

this is an older school that has never remodeled. fortunately, the dividers are the floor to ceiling kind, so you can't look over into the other classroom. i am still extremely hesitant about taking this job though. i have an hour commute with my current job, so it seems as if i will just be trading one bad situation for another. do you think open concept is really that bad????
