I have been teaching for 27 years in Phippsburg, Maine. I had 40 students my second year of teaching, but in the last 10 years I have had 20 to 14 students. This year I have 14 students. It's so wonderful... I feel for any teacher who has as many as you.. I believe Maine students have faired better on standardized tests than many states.. in part I believe, to class size.
