I just open them up and put them through the laminator, then I take a razor blade and follow along the top edge of the pockets (so there will be an opening), then I fold them closed, and stack them in a pile with a heavy book on top-- the next day they are ready to use. I use the laminate that comes in rolls- it is not as stiff and the "sheet" laminate.
