Talkers
By Wendy

Clip to ScrapBook
I use a bell in my room to get their attention during centers or other loud times. The children freeze with their hands in the air and eyes on me. Then I give directions. Another thing to do in large group meetings or stories is to use an object such as a foam star, a small ball, etc. as a "Magic Talking _____" If a child is holding it, they can talk and others have to listen.
