no time

Here in Michigan, at least the district I am in, we get no paid prep time before school starts. All the time we put in is our own. We have one day that teachers have to be at school, the day before the students arrive. That day is usually an all day staff meeting and if the meeting doesn't last all day then perhaps we get a few hours at most to work in our rooms. Not enough.
