locks?

Do you have the ability to lock things up? I've never had to share my classroom with another teacher, but I have had to allow "babysitting" to take place in my (early childhood) room. I have a file cabinet and a storage cabinet that lock, so I lock up anything I don't want to sprout little feet & walk away. Can you just leave out common things (supplies)on the tables that you don't mind sharing and lock up everything else?
