one easy idea
By Amy

Clip to ScrapBook
I have students choose a character (after mini-lessons on character traits and development). I give each of them a large piece of construction paper or chart paper. They draw the character and divide the character's body in half. They write on one half how the character was in the beginning of the story and the second half how the character changed. I also have them find specific details in the text to support their answers. They love to share their drawings!
