Dictionary

Scholastic put out a book of dictionary activities, though I do not have it myself, their suff is usually pretty good. I also o dictionary hunts with my second graders. I might ask them what page a word is one, what does a word mean. Draw a picture of a _________________. Would you want to have a __________ why or why not. (they look them up to see if it is something they would want)Have them use a word in a sentence.
