We have made so much progress in technology over the years, it's unbelievable how much the children are able to do! I teach grades 1 & 2 and my kids quickly learn how to use Powerpoint. They love it and always want to use it and are able to become quite independent users within a short period of time. Our primary teacher swears by ClarisWorks for hers. Both are very simple ad you know the "sponge" nature of kids...they'll take it all in!
