I also agree with the post above(Jennifer G.) I have taught an earlier version of OC and you can not do everything. I also agree with sticking with the green section. Blending, the take home story and workbook are the most important parts. Each day I vary the centers, big book, and journal writing. If seems confusing at first but the kids really learn quickly with this series. I have taught 4 other reading series and this one has been so successful.
