Glad to hear that he'll have an aide, sorry to hear about the lack of home support. Since mom's not showing up for those IEP meetings, be sure that all your paperwork is "good" (follows all the rules of your district and state). Be sure your anecdotals are objectively written (the aide should be able to help with this)and that his permanent file doesn't contain "personal commentary accounts" of his behavior, etc. It sounds like you're doing your homework and are getting prepared!
